Fadfics are annoying.

So let's talk about the latest fadfics our fandom has to offer.

I'm speaking, of course, of the "Ember" fics.

Ember, from what I've been able to gather without actually reading any of the fics, is a draconic ambassador. I don't know what fic kickstarted this Ember nonsense, and I don't care. It annoys me that the majority of fics in the featured box are Ember fics.

Hello, ladies and gentlechickens. As you may have noticed, I've posted two whole stories in two days. You might ask, "What is this madness?" The answer; To hell if I know. I just felt like writing, and it was wonderfully easy, so I did it. Wow.

I don't actually dislike shipping. Only certain ships, such as:

-FlutterMac. Just because they're both quiet doesn't mean couple. Geez.

-Octiscratch. "Opposites attract" isn't nessicarily true. As roommates? Yes. As a couple? Eeeh, no./

-Self-insert x any member of the Mane Six. Because ego-stroking and self-promotion make a wonderful story. Sarcasm.

Seriously, I don't like displaced fics. Not only do they make about as much sense as pineapple jell-o, but they are unoriginal. So I shall (very sarcastically) summarize every displaced fic I've read the description of:

My name was *something*, n I was a human. I went to X con dressed as Y and a misterious merchant soled me Z. Now I'm in Equestria as Y. Interactions. Contrivedness. Ponies.

Dear people who've been posting fanfictions lately: If you can't even spell "ponies" in your description, or properly capitalize, then what is going to make me think you'll spell it right in the story? Seriously. This is more than judging a book by its cover; This is the first impression you get to make, so at least make a good impression.
