I won't mince words here. This story was not going the way I wanted it to. It was a spur-of-the-moment idea, which should have ended as a one-shot. I have dearly overestimated my own ability.

I won't insult myself or the readers with keeping this story in limbo. If I ever do release any more fics from this point on, they will assuredly be one-shots. I bit off more than I can chew, and the motivation has dried up a bit on me.

It's that time of the year again, wherein the plants see fit to disperse their pollen in droves that would equal a tsunami of allergen bombs. Hello, everyone. The last few weeks have been fairly hectic for me as I've been settling into my new schedule for my classes, on top of dealing with the flu the first week. I think everything's fine now, so I'm going to begin on the next chapter of Zapfilly in earnest (compared to the hundred or so words I threw into it the past few weeks). It should be out this weekend at the latest, unless something astronomical happens and I end up without much time.
