1. You're very much welcome ^^ I enjoyed reading your story :) (And shared it with a friend ^^)
2. We're still doing that, just in PM's XD I suck at writing (which is why I haven't ever written any fanfics) but I can hold conversations :P It's fun talking with people who have the same interests :)

1. Thanks for adding my story to your favourites!
2. I'm amazed at how much I had to scroll through to get the comment box. Dude, you and Fanboy are writing essays! You don't kid around do you?

Okay, if that happens too often/easy, that's, indeed, not a good thing. Yet I do consider it exceptional writing if a story manages to keep me captivated like that for long after. Like I said, I kind of enjoy that feeling. I still remember that one episode from Doremi Naisho, which was an OVA series set between season 3 and 4 of Doremi. If you don't know that show or havent watched it, that is a show that was originally meant to sell pink plastic toys to little girls. But somewhere along the way the authors forgot about that and started to write a surprisingly well-planned, character driven story instead. (Hm, talking about it, that does sound kind of familiar...) And then those OVAs came along. Which were used to tell a few more serious stories about the character's little fears, backgrounds and these kind of personal stories. But nothing could have ever prepared for that one episode where the main character befriends a sick girl - who has a brain tumor. This one left me shaken. It took me about an hour to really process what I had just seen. It was a most fascinating mix of sadness and awe. Like I said, I do like that kind of feeling ^^.

And there are so many more examples of Oda's skill. finally, besides long-term setups and incredible emotional moments, he somehoe manages to come up with the most ricidulous and insane ideas and make them work. I don't even know if there is any example I could single out ^^.

Ah, okay. All I knw so far was that Kaitou Kid did appear in Detective Conan, this whole connection is new to me. And as I just found out, there have been exactly 4 volumes in the last 18 years o.0 Well, maybe I'll give it a read. Doesn't look like I have much to catch up ^^.

Yeah, it is, to say it bluntly, stupid to require your students to already know what you want to teach them. Yet on one hand, I can only talk about the situation in Berlin, I don't know about the situation in other cities. On the other, I can very well imagine they had a lot of applicants for that program, so they used that requirement to sort out a few of them.

Well, that's one way to decide what you're going to study. I should know, I used that too. Unfortunately, for me it didn't work out quite that good. I thought I were interested in theology, yet it wasn't quite as interesting as I had hoped. Also, working conditions became constantly worse at the university where I was enrolled. So, I hope you know how lucky you are it all worked out so well :).

If memory serves me right, samurai stories got banned after World War 2, under directive by the US forces. Who, by the way, enforced some other censorship rules which kicked off a whole lot of other unexpected things... But I digress ^^. So, to prevent future Japanese generations from turning into war-crazy maniacs, they forbid anything about traditional warfare, like smaurai. So authors tried other things to depict the same values and virtues, and they found sports. that's why shows like Mila or Captain Tsubasa tend to such over-the-top scenes where the athletes use insane secret techniques or time simply freezes, so they can contemplate their life-choices and philosophy about the deeper meaning of their game. And that tradition kind of sticks with the genre till today, even though samurai stories aren't banned anymore, as far as I know.

Well, it has become the standard in the USA. Which means we now have to it, too. Because, if it's done in the USA, it has to work, right? Spoiler: It doesn't. Ever since they started that thing, there were exactly two who actually turned out to be good voice actors, and another one who was at least decent. Any other attempt was weak at best.

the only show, if we talk anime, too, I could recommend would be Death Note. But it isn't the typical crime show, since you know who the culprit is who everybody is hunting, because the whole thing is written from his point of view. And it has a lot of supernatural elements to it, with a god of death being a central character, despite it playing in an otherwise normal, contempory setting.

I know exactly what you mean, and that's also exactly why I'd never write a first-person fanfic ^^. I didn't get into contact with shipping imediately, but I knew it was happening. Because it always happens. I know that ever since Digimon first aired here ;). The former. Because incest also always happens. It's like an internet reflex. Vinyl/Octy is definitely an interesting pairing. Even more so since both characters' first appearances lasted for a few seconds, without any dialog, and in two completely different episodes. Anything beyond that was done by the fans. And by now, most fans have a clear vision who they are, complete with characterization and relationship ^^.

Not only Dungeons and Dragons, but yes, games like that. I don't know exactly what you mean by ot being good at it, but in some way, that's to be expected for first-timers ;). But TCGs are also nice. If only they weren't so expensive...

Yeah, I'm not sure, but that might an unauthorized public performance or whatever the legal term is. And German law-enforcement is surprisingly quick and resolute about such things. I guess they need these "successes" for the statistics.

I'll call it fair-play. You're the one who told me about these other shows ^^.

Maybe you should consider yourself lucky you had to save for those things. Knowing the true value of money and personal belongings is a feat in danger of dying out. Or maybe that's just my biased view, since I see everyday how people are wasting money at the gas station where I'm working...

Watch-cat indeed. If anything were to happen, he'd hide and watch until things are safe for him to come back out again.

He's a Persian cross-breed and therefore really fluffy. And a little bit overweight. Most of his fur is a deep black, except for his paws, chest and belly, which is white. And he ahs incredibly large yellowish-amber eyes. He spends most of his time complaining (not counting when he's asleep, of course), especially when I'm trying to sleep. He's constantly trying to find the best way of getting on my nerves, simply because he's unsatisfied with his food. Either because it is not enough or not the one he wants right now. Somehow he manages to keep shedding all year long, so there is always cat hair somewhere around my flat. Also, is is incredibly lazy, he'd never bother hunting anything smaller than a moth or butterfly. Wherupon hunting means sitting around until that things comes to him and complaining to me if it doesn't.

Or, in other words, I love him to death, because he is the cutest little thing and I couldn't imagine myself living without him ^^.
