Oh, it's not a lack of confidence. I'm already writing my first drafts, and once I have them coherent enough to be presentable, I probably will start looking for a few test readers. I'm not new to writing, but this is my first time trying to do anything M-rated, so I'm pretty sure my first few attempts at writing explicit scenes are going to suck. It's something I want to at least try to improve on, if only to test my own limits and see how much I'm really capable of.

If you want, try writing a bit in private. Perhaps, show it only to a few when you feel confident enough. Everyone's got to start somewhere, even all the great writer have to go through this period.
