I seem to be stuck as far as forward progress on my novella goes. The problem, as always, is time. In order to even attempt to write a coherent story I have to go back to my notes and actually check to see what has and has not yet happened. This process has tended to take all of the time that I had set aside during the last few days to write the next chapter.

Well, the U.S. Supreme Court finally made their ruling. I am very glad that they made the right decision in not allowing discrimination when it comes to marriage. I know this won't be the end of it, I think I can hear the pseudo-religious outrage from here, but I am glad that this country is finally taking a step in the right direction on this topic.

Oh, and this is said without the sarcasm everyone always attaches to it. Thanks, Obama.
