If I had to sum up most of season 9 so far it would be... Satisfying. With only a little exception I feel like it has been a very solid season, wrapping things up in as best a way as they can, having some fun along the way, making *very* hard topics as light as they can, I am actually really amazed at what a fine job they have done of threading that needle.

I am... Ambivalent about the EQ line of media. On the one hand I like it conceptually, as a universe to explore and a world to build on. I like it as a chance to enjoy the voice actresses and some concept of the characters interacting.
As a toy line... it is nearly frightening, most of the dolls are lurid. (To me)

I think 7 may be one of my favorite seasons to date, it has a few flubs, but overall, wow! I'm about 4 episodes deep in season 8 and am a little wary so far... We'll see ^-^

I know this one's been visited by someone in some form or another by I thought I would toss it out there since it's on my mind anyway: Highlander via ponies, IE: Immortals who gain power from defeating other Immortals.

So a goodly number of years ago I joined FiMFic, early 2015 and I had been asked to read a few fics a friend of mine had written, mingled with an interest with the show/s that had somehow won me over despite my initial reluctance. It took a long time to grow from skeptical to accepting that there might be something to all this hype, to finally getting into watching all the seasons then-to-date and eventually the one or two EQG movies.
