Cadence has lived in Marehaven Harbor all her life. The only things she lives for is talking to the sailors that pass through the harbor and hearing their stories. She expected herself to fall in love with one of them eventually, but will they love her back?

The universe calls my sisters an I villains, just because of our nature. Because of this, we were exiled in a completely different dimension for five years. For five years we planned to get back home, culminating at the Battle of the Bands. In retrospect, it was always a bad idea. We were the "villains."

Luna has many demons lingering in her mind after being brought back from Nightmare Moon. She can often control these demons, these monsters... But sometimes they get out.

They're all crazy. Those filthy changeling monsters just stroll into the court claiming peace, and everypony is believing them! Even Aunt Luna and Celestia! Well, not me. I know firsthoof what kind of monsters they are. They kidnapped me and nearly killed me on my own wedding day and expect me not to hate them? This is just a ruse, they're planning something bigger I know it. I'll get to the bottom of this and prove to everypony they can't be trusted and I was right. I know I'm right. Right?

The Nightmare Moon Rebellion destroyed hundreds of lives, destroyed cities, towns and the land. Trenches cut through the land, between them no pony would be able to survive for more than a few minutes. It's hard to imagine that a pony could be able to live through such a thing, let alone make a friend. However, friendship works in mysterious ways.
