I've recently come to a realization.
In a lot of stories on here, authors tend to use salt as a substitute for alcohol in the world of ponies.
Appaloosa and similar Western themed towns often have bars called "The Salt Lick" or something similar.
So, here's my question: If ponies treat salt like booze, then would a pony visiting the ocean by like a human visiting a giant (free) brewery?

Just found this little gem during my regular youtube trawl.

How is it that this has existed so long without having it's audio put over clips (or original animation) of ponies? It's a perfect fit! They even say "friendship is the strongest magic of all" at one point!

Well then.
I just spent an enjoyable afternoon viewing the new movie. Now I'm fully aware that the mlp fan community in my area is pretty small, but still this was ridiculous. I was in a completely empty theater until ten minutes into the opening previews, when a mother and her three year old entered, dashing my hopes to do a running DWK-slash-cinema-sins-esque snarky commentary.
