Right everyone, I have just published chapter 5 of Pony Trek. At this point in the story the intro is complete. You know the characters, you know what they are going to be doing, and they have been given some of the tools they need to do it. Starting next chapter will be the series of adventures needed to accomplish their goal. Or rather, their employer's goal.

If you took a pony OC, and wrote a story where they were sent to another universe, say Star Wars's, but after they arrived there the story had nothing to do with FiM aside from the main character's species, backstory, and abilities, is that called a crossover or is that something else?

I'm not personally writing one, I just want to know if these stories are crossovers or their own catagory of thing for FiMFiction bookshelf reasons.

Some of you may have realized that I am writing all of my stories in the same Alternate Universe. Because of this all my stories are canon to each other, but are mostly self contained. There of course will be moments within a story where you don't understand why/how/what because that happened in another story, but these will be rare.
