I had a stupid idea, and put it into words. I'm not going to bother editing it after this point, but at least it's out of my brain now.

As I mentioned in the previous blog post, I had made revisions to the prologue of Dusk. Well now I've gone and redone chapter one. And I'm particularly proud of it this time around! The plot twist doesn't feel like it's out of left field anymore, and I've made "Twilight's" banter a little snappier, so as to match the picture of her I have in my head.

After a burst of creativity, I've revised the prologue of Dusk. Over time, if I can't bring myself to finish the next chapter, I'll probably end up re-doing all of the chapters this way. The original version is located here, and I've also linked it in the chapter itself.

There are two huge writing projects that have dominated my brain as of late. The first would be Dusk - specifically, the chapter I'm working on. (Fight scenes* are a bitch.) The second, however, is a little more important - my research paper for my bachelor's degree in IT.

So! I released a new story, Shield and Sword. It's a little bit character study, a little bit flashfic, a little bit just me venting off a story idea. Tell me what you think!

I don't know if Dusk updated properly or not.

Here's the rundown: Most of the chapters are already on the site, but are simply unpublished. I do a lot of editing on Fimfiction itself, where I can see it in its final home before finalizing it.

I just flipped chapter three to published. But I can't see Dusk on the Recently Updated list.

Or did so many people update at once that it's not there anymore?

Fimfiction is hard, guys.

I'm putting Dusk in the submission queue.

It's almost done... I'm officially on chapter eight of fourteen. I should be able to release the chapters fairly regularly.

Wish me luck! After dropping into obscurity, it's going to take some sort of miracle to get this story noticed.
