Getting there. · 9:40am Apr 4th, 2021
250 pages of 300 done now.
All these moments will be lost, like tears in the rain.
250 pages of 300 done now.
Halfway done with the editing now.
I'm a bit behind schedule due to the usual outside factors, such as trying to run a household and studying for my night school exam. The final paper was last night, so fingers crossed I pass. Considering it has been thirty three years since I left school, getting back into education was quite a culture shock. Not mention making me feel like an old fart.
Good grief, I though I'd never get it done.
Sickness, injuries, and dreadful hours at work conspired to make this story one of the longest to write despite being only 290 pages long.
It needs editing of course, a job I am crap at, but I think it reads pretty well.
Hope to have it done some time soon, but I'm taking a night school course at the mo and my exams are coming up.
Time will reveal all
Believe it or not the story has progressed. I'm now on page 150 with no particular end in sight just yet. It's not intended as a long story as I've mentioned previously, however it does still tie in with the Fairlight world as much as you could read it as a standalone if you fancied. I'm thinking of asking one of my regulars if they'd like to read it in draft form and give an opinion before I began editing it in earnest. I'll keep you updated on that one.
Hey all, hope you are keeping well.
I can't believe it's been this long since I updated the blog, but here it is.
After two weeks in the US of A, I have returned alive and well.
The latest review from PaulAsaran is in, this time for All the Queen's Horses.
Would anyone be interested in my stories being narrated and posted on YouTube?
Book 5 of Fairlight is complete. The first chapter is up, and more will be posted as they are edited. There is a long way to go though, as this story is around 690 pages long. Should keep you going for a while!.
Hope you enjoy.
And there we go, the final chapter edited and uploaded.
Now, the final book in the Fairlight arc will need to be edited and published. It's a fair old size, so may take a while.
