So we got a new thermostat and patched the radiator and took it for a small, around the neighborhood drive... and the patch popped. The radiator is fucked internally, meaning I need a new radiator before that vehicle will function. At least I have a shiny new thermostat though!

This combined with my thermostat being frozen. If you look around the burst though, you can see that it was patched up using epoxy before I got the truck, and blew when my thermostat seized and pressure got too high.

I'll be able to temp patch this, but I'll want to drop down the $215 to get a new radiator ASAP.

So, this morning I was driving to work when my truck broke down due to overheating. I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, but it's something with the coolant system. Anyways, being stuck on the highway for an hour isn't fun, let me tell you, especially when it's less than 20 degrees Farenheit outside. Luckily I managed to get a ride to work, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to work reliably for until this gets fixed.

Damnit.
