Well, this spares me another month and half of studying and another $400 or so to retake the darned thing. Better chances of getting through with my applications this time around, too. I'm taking the day off today.

I learned yesterday that Aunt Nancy, my grandmother’s sister, is dying. Brain damage after choking on a piece of calzone and not getting her airway cleared in time.

This is just so, so awful. Between my studying, I’ve been trying to keep my mind off the heavier things, but it’s just not happening. This is just a bad time.

Last Sunday, I went to Lakemont Park with my buddy Blake from the university (the guy who founded the RMU Amusement Park Club). It was nice to see him again, although Lakemont Park is much less than it used to be, in terms of rides and waterworks. It was nice to see him, though.
