I don't have a lot of satisfying reasons. One of my major time-consumers is still at play: I'm still working as I was before, and my weekends have D&D sessions still. Mainly, I've just had some more interesting project ideas come up.
But I'll be damned if this doesn't make me feel like I'm being chased by a bear.
Did my typing at work a little faster than usual today.
My assigned employer through my hiring agency, having projected a reduced workload in wake of virus-related closings, decided to open up my work position to one of their full hires. After this Friday, my assignment will terminate, so I'll be basically out of work again.
Other than the usual inconveniences, I'm doing okay and really hope you all are doing okay, too.
I've been asking myself the same question even though I know exactly what it is.
At least my "new" mike works well! And don't worry. I have actual things in the works, too.
Bad news: my old Samson C03u studio condenser microphone just doesn't cut it for sound quality where I'm recording. 
Good news: the one in my old-as-hell Apple earbuds do! 
My sound quality solution was dangling from my ears the entire time! 
So crisp, though.

In any case, I feel I should let you all know what's been up, where my time's been going if not here.

Some manner of updates: not much new on the job hunting front. Still haven't heard back from the people I ought to have a while ago. Currently seeking out the aid of some hiring agencies in the area. They seemed to insist they could connect me directly to my line of employment, but I doubt it. Will likely have to resort to temporary employment through them.
I am back.
I spent the past month and a half mostly ignoring my profile on this website because I couldn't bear to let myself on it, for fear of getting so absorbed that it would harm my studies. I wonder if it would have really mattered.
