Garnet comes home to find out that a war is brewing between the earth and homeworld. To protect everyone the mane 6 and the crystal gems must work together to find a way to stop homeworld from destroying the earth and everyone living on it.

Pinkie Pie finds a trapped Ruby when she is on a quest for The golden whisk. On the journey to rescue Sapphire they get confronted by Jasper, who wants to destroy them. After getting past her, they free Sapphire, becoming life long friends in the process.
