A moonlit hill, a waiting mare. What is she waiting for?

It must be important.

Local human, Anon, is a pretty normal guy. He goes to work, comes home, hangs around his apartment until bed, eats, sleeps, and repeats. Sometimes, he even spices things up and hangs out with his friends.

One day, his friends notice something. . . off about him.

Also, I just wanted to say I'm not trying to make fun of anybody what with could be called an anglo-derivative accent. I just thought it would be funny to take it to the extreme.

After 10 long years of war and suffering, Sombra succeeded. He won.

That was five years ago.

Now, the princesses have gone missing, what remains of the Bearers scattered, and Equestria and its people are suffering. Hope is a commodity, and it is one quickly snuffed out by the iron hoof of King Sombra's rule.

The spark of harmony and friendship has faded, but it hasn't died. Whispers of a resistance are heard across the land, but only rumors and dead ends are found.

Can someone step up and reignite the flame? Can someone rally the broken, scornful citizens and restore harmony?

For the sake of Equestria, all ponies can do is hope.

Somewhere, there is a place of legend, a place that should not exist. It is said that within the grounds of this ancient estate, there lies a great power. One that could restore what is lost.

It is known by few, and even fewer truly believe it is real at all.

They are fools. They have to be.

She must not fail.

Princess Luna, the goddess of the Moon and caretaker of dreams, loves nothing more than to tend to those in need within the Dreamscape. When she hears something that shouldn't be possible while performing her nightly duties, she is drawn further into the Dreamscape.

There, she answers the cries of something foreign.
