So the teacher of my intro to lit class has a strange hobby. On weekends, she and her husband act in reenactments of revolutionary war era things, like towns and battles. Today I have a list of the most annoying and terrifying words used in school and on tests. And they are; Why, how, explain, and critical thinking. Any others?

Let's see, what did I learn yesterday? Erm... I learned that a mongoose looks sorta like a cross between a ferret, a fox, a meerkat , has chinchilla like qualities, and reminds me of a groundhog. That is what I learned in intro to lit. class. We had to read Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, and after reading it I had to look up what a mongoose looks like. It was a great story, too. But seriously, if you don't know what they look like, look them up. They're weird.

We finally finished the 1,000 piece Doctor Who exploding TARDIS puzzle! THAT took forever.

Again with the school... Honestly, I don't care what the three compromises were that were made at the Constitutional Convention. Ugh

I'm not sure why we home schoolers don't get a fall break. I mean sure, I got off for summer in April, but it's still not fair. I have to sit there and watch all the kids on the street playing and having fun while I figure out what what a+b x 8a-6 is. Not fair. Just not fair. Le sigh.

I beat my all time high for lack of sleep at our youth lock-in last night. After watching random Youtube videos, Wall-E, and The Lion King 2, my friends and I got ready to go to sleep at like 2:00, and ended up finally sleeping at 6:30 in the morning after playing on their 3DSs. We got about 45 minutes of sleep total. Let's just say that I'm not exactly peppy. But it was worth it.
