Despite 42 degrees Celsius in Ludwigsburg (107 F), a city definitely not built with that kind of heat in mind, it was glorious. Definitely the best GalaCon so far. Even better, GalaCon 2020 is already confirmed. Didn't get to meet any new people (or people I know at all, actually), but the program was good enough to more than make up for that. Also great vendors and a fantastic party/gala Saturday evening.
Because getting to know even more people than last year would be cool ;)
Obviously, I suggest to read the chapter first.
