He visits her.
Pinkie decides to throw a party, and let's just say that she leaves some "hints" during the planning.

This is just randomness. To sum it all up, Pinkie Pie wakes Rainbow Dash up, telling her that she wanted to show her something. Turns out Pinkie invented a Dimension Gun(DG) and they go dimension traveling, meeting Cheese along the way.
