A war between Ponies, their allies the Diamond Dogs and Griffons, and the Changelings with their allies the Minotaurs, has come and gone leaving many friendships and families scarred. This is a short recollection of how it ended. (and partly how it began)

Part 1 is a general overview on how the war started, please bear with me if it's a little fast-paced.

Part 2 will be the how the war ended.

A mare is sent by Princess Celestia to go to Pegasopolis, the northernmost settlement of Equestria, where she should 'await official instructions'.
