So I'm thinking of writing a multi-chapter story. I've started planning it out and tackling issues with the plot and characters, but I want to know when I should release each chapter once I've written some.

I want to release each chapter on a schedule to avoid diggingerbread (ha I mean digging, but autocorrect has other ideas) myself into a hole like I did with my first story.

So how long should I wait between each chapter? 1 week? 2 weeks? 2 days? What do you think?
