Whew! Well, Cyberpony: 1077 ran a little overlong thanks to me sucking at sticking to the chapter layouts and pacing I start out with. It's certainly a chronic issue I have :( (side-eye's Legacies ) But, it is concluded, and so now we shall move on to the next story on the docket: Royal Equestrian Cavalry: Blood and Honor.

Been working hard this holiday season, which means hardly working on my writing :/ But that changes in January. Yay! There are a few stories in the pipe that'll start posting with the new year. As was mentioned in the notes of Chapter 51, the ending's getting pretty lengthy. It's just about wrapped up, but I will need a couple more days to close it out. Should be posted no later than Wednesday, but most likely Tuesday. I think I'll still be able to get the epilogue out by the 20th, but we'll see...

Hey all! I came down with a nasty flu last weekend that laid me out for a few days, which put me pretty far behind on my writing. So chapter 51 won't be up until the 30th. Sorry about that!

So...Bad news first:

Chapter 39 is going to need to be pushed back a little bit due to Real Life^TM things.

As for the good news, also there's no good news!

Just kidding; both chapters 39 and 40 will be up on the 30th :P

So, Covid has left me with a lot more writing time than I'm used to and, as a result, I've now found myself with a SIX CHAPTER buffer for Ashes. It's a buffer that's only likely to grow with time, and it's getting kind of ridiculous.

As a result, starting in November, Ashes will be getting chapter updates on the 10th, 20th, and 30th of the month until further notice.

If the buffer keeps growing after that, we'll see about weekly updates, but that feels like pushing it, honestly.

So, The Lost Empire will be wrapping up next month, which means that a new story will be started in its place.

The trouble is, I'm having a hard time deciding which of the three currently in-production stories I should focus on. At the moment i'm bouncing between them and if I keep that up for the next month I risk falling behind in whichever one I ultimately decide on. Covid-19 has given me a LOT more time to write, and I want to see how long I can keep doing biweekly updates.
