Speaking of efficiency, I should have some new stories for you guys by the end of the week. Got an AppleDash in the works, and a cool new Murder Mystery, for those of you that like those (and there aren't enough of you guys).

Now excuse me whilst I try to gouge out my eyeballs study for exams.

Just finished my HiE story, the one I mentioned in one of my earlier blog posts. It's short (like pretty much all of my stuff) but I'm pretty happy with it. Hopefully it won't bore people to death.

In any case, let no man say I didn't try.

But now that's done with, I think it's time for some new plans. I have a little achievements board on my user page, and I'd like to have them ticked off one by one. Among them is: write a 'western' story.

I have no idea why this happened, but when I finally sobered up I realized that I gave the Flim Flam brothers a musical number in my latest story. I was originally going to leave it in, but I decided that it didn't fit the tone and pacing of the story.

Well that took a little longer than I anticipated. Still, I'm quite happy with the results I got, cause I got honourable mention'd!

Don't get me wrong, I would have loved to place, but just being recognized in a competition is a pretty big step for me. I'm not sure how many people pick up writing one afternoon and get such a nice reception after only a few months worth of practice.
