After a vicious outbreak of plague famine and unforgivable sandstorms, the humans both Western and Eastern sailed across a large ocean from the south and settled into Equestria. Celestia proud of the new settlers began incorporating them into her armed forces and other useful jobs.

Thirteen years after the humans settled into Equestrian borders Celestia had come to the realization that these humans are for more intelligent, well mannered, hard-working, and disciplined then almost half the Equine population. Power and a will to rule soon ate up her heart and forced her to do atrocities beyond any mere mortals comprehension. She began with selling ponies and humans alike into slave trade with neighboring kingdoms such as the Ibex Empire and The Griffon Kingdoms, those who refuse are beaten, burnt, and raped. The unicorns would have their horns removed pegasi have their wings cut off and humans have their heads shaved. And if that doesn't work they get sent to unhygienic and dangerously rat infested cells.

Luna very concerned of this gets these visions in her head that someone is coming for her, coming to save her. These visions come true as a man named "Johannes" steps in from the shadows and begins righting the wrongs the sun tyrant had committed.
