Another MRI is clear! · 9:15pm February 8th

Had my MRI done last Wednesday, and this Wednesday my radiologist and oncologist both confirmed that there was no visual signs of any tumor regrowth, to go along with my continuing to not have any of the symptoms I was experiencing prior to my July surgery last year! Still going well! I'll be getting a new shipment of Temodar pills this Friday, and will starting the fourth five day course of taking it this coming Monday.

Shingles, yay! · 12:48am January 26th

So apparently the Chicken Pox virus that has been idle in my body ever since my early childhood caught sight of all the cancer therapy I've been doing and went "would be a shame if someone took advantage of a slight downturn in your immune system," and then I break out in Shingles on the right side of my head at age 37. They usually only START worrying about that at age 50+! What a blessed start to the year!

AM CYBORG NAO · 2:01am Nov 8th, 2023

Nah it's actually not as cool as that. I'm STILL alive, last MRI was clear, still no tumor related symptoms, and I've begun my second round of chemo wherein I take double or triple doses for 5 days in a row once a month for six months. The "LOLCYBORG" bit comes from a little device called Optune, which generates a Tumor Treating Field through basically all of my brain as long as it's attached and powered. The TTF leaves every cell alone, except when certain unreasonable cells try to replicate,

HAHA NO BIG DEAL · 9:44pm Aug 17th, 2023

Holy shit I got back from my post surgery checkup appointment with the surgeon.

Surgeon: "You were pretty out of it."
Me: "Yeah I don't remember much two days before the surgery, I figure I must've been on some good medications at the time."
Surgeon: "Uh no, actually you were on death's door and your brain just stopped working basically."
Me: "...OH."

IT WAS NOT DRUGS IT WAS THE TUMOR LOL

Slightly Worse · 4:11am Aug 6th, 2023

More information came back from testing on the tumor. Turns out the type of cell the tumor is made of is particularly aggressive when it comes to replicating. This means that instead of doing radiation, and then chemo, I'll be doing chemo alongside radiation, followed by only chemo after the radiation therapy is through. Additionally there is something called an MGM Marker that my tumor cells may or may not have. If they do have the marker, the chemo will be the most effective. If they don't

Radiation therapy · 7:11pm Jul 22nd, 2023

Alright got the report back. My brain tumor has been removed, and it cannot spread from its spot, so I technically do NOT have cancer. However, it WILL regrow again unless I am given radiation therapy every weekday for up to six weeks in a row, followed by some chemo therapy pills, and then periodic scanning to make SURE it's not growing again lest we apply more therapy to it. This will continue the rest of my life basically. However the doctor said my prognosis is very, VERY good and I

A week since my brain surgery! · 9:30pm Jul 17th, 2023

Yep it's officially been a week since I got my brain tumor removed! So far, I'm getting better bit by bit, although I'm worried about the biopsy not coming back yet. Right now I'm trying to write again, although I have to say thanks to my recent years of gathering head issues I've hit a point where I'm often forgetting the correct word for things in a way that I previously haven't. Also, I've been in the mental spot where I can't find the ABSOLUTE PERFECT words to use, or the BLISFULLY PRECISE

That root canal? Definitely needed to be done, but it wasn't the source of the problem as it turns out.

Root canal · 10:13pm Jul 8th, 2023

My original plan was to go to a dental office nearby that my local dental office referred me too for a root canal that would be covered by my Medi-Cal by some miracle. However, at the time I made it there the disorienting and painful effects of the cavity that I theorize was causing the entire issue were at the highest and I absolutely could not bring myself to wait the two extra weeks to get for the insurance to kick in after the inspection, so I paid 400 bucks for them to do most of the
