I think I'm ready to write again.

Don't know how it's gonna go but I decided I'll never know unless I finish it.

Sorry everybody for the long disappearance, and I regret to inform you that it will be longer. I have tried over the last several months to include these stories, which I love to do, among my priorities but it just wasn't happening.

HOWEVER!!!

I will come back! It may be a couple months from now, but I will finish these stories. I love them. I want to finish them. I hate leaving things unfinished, especially halfway. But life has other plans at the moment.

Just watched the first two episodes of season five, and I gotta say I like the direction they're taking. I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, but it does seem like a lot of fun. Though just a quick reminder for my prime story Ponyville USA, I have it labeled alternate universe because the break in story occurs right after season 3.

But that doesn't mean we can't learn new things.

So so so sorry ya'll! I would have had the new chapter about a week and a half ago, but the universe combined with work, school, and a nasty cold to deny me such an endeavor. Hopefully, and I really do so with hope, I'll have it done, edited, and posted by the end of the weekend. Thanks for your patience!

I got several responders offering to help edit, so thanks to all of you that did.

Hello guys. I have a question for ya'll. I'm wondering if I could persuade one of you to edit Ponyville USA for me? I have two wonderful editors already but they do have lives and aren't always able to get back to me, so I was hoping I could get another volunteer.

I have not abandoned either of my stories, so I'll just allay any concern there. But I recently lost my job when my employer went out of business unexpectedly, so I am now job hunting. Mix that in with a bit of writer's block and you have an unfortunate recipe.

But don't worry, ya'll. I plan to be back up on a normal schedule this month. Perhaps with some of the breaks coming up I can give you a sped up one even, perhaps two chapters in a week instead of one in two.

I was thinking with the next chapter of Ponyville USA I would feature a vote by the readers. Is this something that should be avoided?

As I see it the positives of the vote I have in mind are: People have a better chance of connecting with the story and it gets me out of my comfort zone. Plus it might open up situations that otherwise I might not have even thought of.
