The motherboard failed yet again due to an internal issue in the laptop making it run too hot.
After crunching the numbers and discovering I can get a refund for the failed motherboard, I've made the decision to put Ol Yeller down, so to speak.

I believe my laptop may be dead again.
Stay tuned for updates. If it's truly dead this time, I won't be able to afford a new one till after the Colorado trip

The motherboard on my laptop is officially dead.
I have one on the way and luckily the hard drive is still good, meaning all my story notes and such aren't in jeopardy.

It should arrive next week at the latest, putting me back in action in a few weeks.

I'm using this as a lesson to use cloud storage more often as well, just in case this happens again

1. Not much chance for writing lately due to work wearing me out (which is finally getting fixed due to new management! ) as well as preparations for the Nightmare Nights Dallas convention and Halloween next week!
