I've been feeling a little guilty of late, after the cancellation of Darkness Awaits, but i really wasn't happy with Blue's character, backstory, and.... just about everything.

Now, I was surfing through Equestria Daily, on halloween, and came across a huge clump of bat pony art. That was what really got me trying to re-design Blue Moon. Next, i received a reply on my journal 'Darkness Awaits Cancelled' from Fresnor, who mentioned Hollow Shades.

Sooo... sorry for the letdown, but I'm actually working on another story that takes priority. Plus, i didn't really like the way this was going. Blue's character was all wrong, it was way too positive and the plot could've turned out ok, but... It wasn't great.

I'm thinking of changing Blue's backstory as well. Growing up in Ponyville is way too cliche and there's a bunch of other aspects i'm really not pleased with.

I'm just writing another apology for taking so long! I'm about halfway through next chapter - it's a biggie, trust me, with Luna and Zecora thrown into the mix.

I've got a lot to do, including another story (sadly not a pony fiction), schoolwork, moving house, and a whole lot of other stuff that's taking up every second I have. I swear this is a never ending omen or something, but I refuse to stop writing about colourful talking ponies! Never!

Hi guys,

I'm really sorry about how long it's taking to roll out these chapters, and I'm afraid the progress is only going to get slower. You see, I've got to keep writing other short stories, and it's a very busy time for us. We've just moved back from Australia, so things are very hectic, but I'll do my best to keep a steady pace. I did say that I'd try to do two pages a day, but that's simply not possible with everything going on at the moment, so thanks for your patience!
