While I do not agree with Ultra-the-HedgeToaster's tone (it's not our prerogative to demand anything from artist, unless they work for us), I would join him in asking you, Versimer, to let us view your art again, somehow. Right now, I'm interested in the pictures that were in the Optimalverse group and now gone; but it's sad to lose anything, really.

Even if you may have lost interest in pony, there are still people out there who like your stuff, and might want to come back to it. Deleting it, just because you lost interest seems incredibly rude to all your fans.

Not just that, but what about the people who were still going to stumble into your gallery? Perhaps someone only recently saw some of your work, and wanted to check out the rest later. And now they never will be able to.

I've been there before. It's made me incredibly pissed at the artist.

Not only that, but I just can't wrap my head around why someone would willingly destroy all their work.

I've been an artist for 10+ years. I love my work. Even looking at my old stuff fills me with nostalgia. Seeing someone burn it all .... that's just insane!

Every time I encoutner it, I can't help but think of this scene:

I used to not be worried about the future of this fandom. Now I am.

"Even if thing's will slow down some day, there'll always be all the old stuff I haven't had the time to check out before." Yeah. Not so certain anymore.

This madness needs to stop.
