So I haven't exactly put out much work over the last few months. I'm really sorry about that; between my laptop breaking all the time, the freelance work piling on, and general ennui and angst, I've been dragging my feet like a snail getting drunk on molasses. And not even good molasses, but the sludgy kind your grandma put away in the back of her cupboard fifty years ago and promptly forgot about. By which I mean graduated, not dead. The grass isn't as green as I thought it'd be, but there's still grass, so I'm good with it.

I'm doing some freelancing, which will take up quite a bit of my time, but I should still be able to make time for writing about magical horses. With any luck, we will see more of Luna being evil and Pinkie getting killed before too long.

So it's that time in the semester again, when I have to do papers and analyses and such. In addition, I graduate this April, so there will be much searching to figure out what to do next. So basically I won't have any time to write for the next few weeks, as my life will be a minefield of business. Sorry about that! I will do my best to get back into the writing game, but for now I make no promises.

With that semester out of the way, it looks like things should be smooth sailing from here. So while I am still a lazy bum who spends more time reading than writing, the difference should be a little more balanced now.

I even have a couple new projects in mind that might be interesting. (No, this doesn't mean I'm abandoning Diary and Overgrow.) Have an excerpt from one of them below the break.

Since my senior paper is due in December, I have to get cracking on that. Which means easing off the gas pedal on writing ponyfic. It's unfortunate, but that's how it is.

I'll probably still be around reading fics and adding them to my silly bookshelves, but that's a case of me being a terrible slacker. And maybe having the occasional reward for working on the science of adaptation. But mostly slacking.

A new semester might be coming up for me, but that's no reason not to think about ponies. So here is some stuff about pony names, because my blog needs something even slightly more interesting than my excursions to Olive Garden. And the site in general needs OCs who aren't named Shadowblade or whatever.
