I've mentioned in these blog posts that I've got a one-shot in the works, and, as per my usual custom, I feel I should keep those of you who actually bother to read these things in the loop as far as its progress goes. Well, "Wild, Sweet & Cool" is done, but it seems like the ending of the epilogue is needlessly confusing some of the readers, and upon rereading, it does seem a bit clunky. Therefore, I've decided to remove it, and place it in this blog post for posterity.

One of the minor disappointments I've had while writing "Wild, Sweet & Cool" was that I've had to cut certain scenes that weren't related to the main plot. A while back, I mentioned in passing that I had an idea for a one-shot that I thought would distract me from getting the remaining chapters of WSC done. Well, I tried to work on it, but it turns out that "Wild, Sweet & Cool" was distracting me from the one-shot, so it looks like I'll be finishing that before doing anything else. I'm going to try to use the long weekend to get Chapter 9 finished and posted (I've got 2 of 6 sections written, and it looks like this is going to be a longish one).
