Like the post title says, the new story, though it still has a bit of revision and polish to get through before submittal, is more or less finished, and I hope to have it posted by the end of the month... which would be Friday.
It's titled "Everything, Including the Stars, Is Falling," and it's going to get Sad and/or Tragedy tags, assuming I can figure out the difference between the two.
So, for much of the past week, I have been in the rather awkward situation of trying to complete a sadfic even as developments in my personal life have lead to me feeling more happy and contented than I've felt for years. It can be surprisingly difficult to approach a subject with a somber tone when reality is doing its best to get you grinning from ear to ear. Still, I'm making good progress, and there's a very good chance I'll be finished by the end of the month. And, perhaps most
Hey, everyone. It's been a while since I last made a blog post, so I thought I'd let you know that all's well. I've just been taking a brief break from writing while I started up a tabletop roleplaying group (Age of Rebellion, to be specific). I must say that being a GM flexes some very different storytelling skills than the ones I usually use. Anyway, I've got a fairly good idea of what my next story will be, so I should be getting back to writing relatively soon.
Okay, I don't know what critics expect from a superhero movie, but it clearly isn't what I expect from a superhero movie, because I absolutely loved Suicide Squad. As far as I'm concerned, it's a toss-up between this movie and Deadpool for best superhero movie of 2016.
As you can probably guess, I've had epilogues on my mind for the past week or so, largely because so many readers think that Transdementia needs one. As it happens, I did have an idea for an epilogue... but when it came time to write the last chapter, it seemed to work better to have Surprise make her introduction before Pinkie Pie left. I also toyed with the idea of having the scene with the return to Equestria serve as an epilogue, but let's face it, if you didn't think it
The next chapter of Transdementia is now in its final stages of revision; you can expect it relatively soon.
I should also probably point out that it's going to be the story's final chapter. When it's all said and done, this story won't be quite as long as Pandelirium, but it'll be close.
