Twilight, angry that she couldn’t get the pearl to save Equestria, gets into a shouting match with Pinkie and the rest of her friends. Only this time she doesn’t realize she’s taking things too far.

Sunset Shimmer tells Twilight about a tradition from the human world where they give thanks for things and prepare a huge feast, including something which she describes as a Turken, a turkey stuffed with a chicken stuffed with cornbread dressing. While she wants to bring the tradition to Equestria and at least try it with her close friends and, despite rarely eating any meat, she’ll want to try and follow the explanation and recipes to the letter.

A late Thanksgiving story I started two days before Thanksgiving, knowing I wouldn't have it out in time. Just a little derpy story that I thought was a funny idea. Probably not my best work, and definitely not edited much. I'd rather put my editing effort into my other stories. Anyhay, ENJOY!

Years in the future, Equestria is in ruins and the creatures known as ponies have not survived after some disaster. You are a zebra and the leading social anthropologist of the Zebrican Nation. Your task? Study and find out as much as you can about the pony civilization and, if possible, what disaster wiped them out. As the closest place to the Zebrican homelands, you choose the ancient city of Ponyville, just on the other side of the Everfree Forest. Months have passed, and with plenty of physical evidence of existence, you have yet to determine what happened, or what the ponies were like. That is, until an intern stumbles across a stash of tapes which just might hold some answers.
