Sadly I missed this year's Everfree Northwest, but I hope to catch next year's. I attended Emerald City and Rose City comicons. I ran into Andy Price at both of them so that was fun. Pony stuff is few and far between these days. I did see some great pony cosplay, however.

Originally, I didn't have high hopes for G5; however, that changed quickly once a few shorts were released. After the first official trailer came out right before EFNW, I was getting pretty excited for it. As it got closer, I did my best to avoid any more trailers or spoilers from jerky-jerks. The trailer did its job and piqued my interest.

Well Everfree Northwest was a blast! All things considered, and my first convention of any kind in two years, it was a fun time. I got to meet several people from fimfiction. It's always nice to put a face to a name in lieu of an avatar. Ponystock rocked! There weren't many panels, it seemed, but I really liked all of the ones I attended, so I'm not going to complain. Can't wait for next year!

Now that the 4th has passed, I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th.

We are now almost exactly a month out from the EFNW! I am super excited about this. I haven't been to a convention since fall of 2019! And the last pony convention I was at was 2016.

I'm hoping to see some fimfictioners there.

Yep, my new story is out! Who doesn't love jazz, gin joints, jitterbugs and Charlestons, and of course a singing Sweetie Belle?

As you may have guessed, the story title is from a song of the same name. It's not jazz. What's this song doing in a story centered around jazz? You'll have to find out. Also there are two hidden Beatles references. One obvious, and the other... also obvious.

Welcome to Ponyville, my crazy Welcome To Night Vale story, got a new chapter! I was rereading the first chapter and laughing. I figured if I think it's funny, two years later, then I should continue it, and see where this thing goes.

New story is coming soon. It's in the editing phase and should be out soon.

Right after I got done saying I wasn't writing fanfics anymore inspiration struck. Talk about timing.

And what better way to kick off a new fanfic than to go back to my roots. A new Scootabelle fanfic! Also jazz and gin.

You'll have to excuse my infrequent updates here. I've really fallen off the fanfiction thing since 2019. But I'm still active in the fandom and keep up on all of the drama news. But I've been doing good this year. I've gotten back into music and am writing songs. I've been spending time with my horse, although not as much as last year. Ugh dumb work.
