ON HIATUS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Quick Author's Note here,
It's been a long time since I've last updated this story, mostly because, looking back, I'm not really happy with the way a lot of the chapters turned out. It's been almost four years since I first started, and though I didn't put out many chapters, I really enjoyed writing it. Looking back, I see lots of room for improvement, and I set this fic up for more than I feel I can realistically expect to fulfill. Nevertheless I can't thank my readers enough for the amount of support and interest they've shown my first real fanfic. I may try to pick this up again sometime in the future, but if I do decide to continue the story, it'll be a full reboot. Thanks again, everyone, and sorry for the bad news. If anyone would like to see the unfinished chapter 8 draft, please comment down below. Otherwise, until the next story, peace out.

Through the machinations of the goddesses themselves, Hyrule is ripped apart at the seams of reality, dissolving into nothingness. Link must team up with friends, new and old, and travel to the ends of the planet to defeat an evil unlike anything the world has ever known. A great adventure, terrible secrets, and horrible losses await them, and they will stop at nothing to save the innocent world that has become the battleground of realities.

A "Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" Crossover.

This story takes place after "Games Ponies Play" (Which is the second to last episode of season three) and "Magical Mystery Cure," but I have big plans for this story, and its timeline may overshoot "Magical Mystery Cure" (In fact, i'm pretty sure it will.)

Not a human AU.

The first thing you notice is the hunger.

It starts out small: an extra helping here, a midnight snack there, but soon it escalates. You find yourself constantly eating, needing more and more food. Then the paranoia takes hold, an ever-present force looming over you, keeping you on edge. You get jittery, short-tempered, and your mood changes wildly with little to no warning.

Then you start to hear the voices.

At first, it’s little more than faint whispers in the back of your mind, urging you to do unspeakable things. You try to ignore it, but the voices get louder, angrier. Every word beats down on your sanity, slowly chipping away at your will until you finally give in, finally ending the life of another to satisfy the aching hunger in your gut.

You become a monster, an empty shell of your former self that cares only for the taste of blood and flesh on its tongue. And once your body has been pushed to its very limit, when you can't carry on any more, you become you again. For a brief moment you comprehend the horror of what you've done.

And then you're dead.

And then, you're not.
