for most people they make story's and put their whole heart into the word's. As for me I try to do baby-step's. Little and little until I get used to the typing and waiting. And a tip for beginners: Don't just dive in to the many letter's on the keyboard. Do baby step's. And...! Think about the story you will be typing and do a little paragraph in your head. It will help.
