Everything was almost peaceful within the magical land of Equestria, key word: almost. Two days before the Summer Sun Celebration, a bunch of strange cards started appearing out of nowhere all over Equestria, and some of them started making ponies go crazy, it warranted enough attention for the princess to get to the bottom of this. Princess Celestia, ruler of all of Equestria, decided to conduct her own investigation on these cards, after casting a unique spell, she accidently pulled a human named Yulo Shinsetsu from his home world called Earth and told her about the card game from the strange cards, Duel Monsters.

She immediately enlists his help in stopping these incidents and protecting her subjects from any further harm, he is hesitant at first, but agrees after Celestia promises to find a way to send him back.

But little do they know is that those cards are the least of their problems, especially when threats from Equestria's past come out of the woodwork...

The year that was long prophesized on the Mayan Calendar to be the year that the world meets its end.

But what it really was, was a test for mankind...but we failed. Miserably.

But, a selective few have passed the test and were able to move on in another world, me being one of them. God allowed me to have a Keyblade and sent me to Equestria from MLP:FiM, except...it seemed a little different, all of the ponies are anthro, meaning they are humanoid like. After arriving, I noticed the Heartless were running about, and took care of them and the problem.

Princesses Celestia and Luna, the rulers of this land, saw my potential and granted me permission to stay in Canterlot and teach her subjects about the Keyblade.

Yup, this should interesting.

[Displaced Story]

Today was the day, today I was going to finally go to a real convention after all these years, and I have the perfect cosplay outfit in mind: Riku Replica! I thought today would be the most perfect day of my life...but then I met someone calling himself "The Merchant". I've heard the rumors; about people going to conventions, buying some rare and nearly unobtainable item, and then they just...disappeared.

I laughed it off, thinking it to be just rumors, but HE proved me wrong.

Now, I'm trapped in that TV show that my little sister keeps making me watch, what was the name again? My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic? Yeah, that's it. When I find myself there, I'm in the middle of what appears to be an invasion of quadrupedal bugs with wings and horns in a beautiful city.

...I should probably stop narrating and help these ponies fight off the bugs.

One night, you prayed to whatever god was out there for a way to change your fate, something, anything, to repair the damage done to you. Somehow, your prayers were answered as you now have the ability to "SAVE your progress", like in video games. With this power, you're able to make mistakes, go back, or "LOAD", and start over again, but to do things right.

But as the age old saying goes, "With great power comes great responsibility". When great dangers arrive at CHS's doorstep, it's up to you to undo the damage that isn't your own. But there will be others who will seek your power, and more importantly...

You are infamously known as the worst Duelist in all of Canterlot High School, losing Duels left and right, if it wasn't for two other Duelists who are as bad as you, Snips and Snails, you'd be friendless. Little do you know that a few new cards are going to make an appearance in your world...and cause mass mayhem. By summoning all of your courage and Duel skills, you prepare yourself for the greatest challenge of your life.

The big question is: can you survive the power of the "Numbers" and the wrath of the two warring planets, Astral World and Barian World?

Join Sunset Shimmer and a regretful Twilight Sparkle as they traverse Canterlot City with their own game partners and they all try to win back their right to exist and their entry fees. Not only that, but they'll also soon encounter, not only new faces, but familiar ones as well.

Still haunted by his past mistakes, he refuses to partake in Nightmare Night ever again. But his girlfriend, Pinkie is not the type of pony to give up without a fight, and with the help of her friends, maybe they can lift his spirits. Can they bring Golden's Nightmare Night spirit back? With new friends and adventures on the horizon, you and those around you will be thrust into a great mystery that only you can solve, the mystery of the existence of the Nightmare Realm.

The awaited day has come; the release date of Kingdom Hearts: Unchained χ for the Virtual Reality Headset, or VRH for short, and no one wants it more than Devin, who saved up his money for the game.

Devin was the social outcast of Canterlot High School, people turned a blind eye to him once they figured out he was a gamer, believing he didn't have anything better to do than watch a flickering video screen all day. When he noticed people began alienating him, he chose to live by a life lesson he learned from an old movie: "When the world turns its back on you, you turn your back on the world."

So that's what he did.

After he had gotten the game, he wanted to try it out right then and there, and once he did, he was amazed by the graphics and reality of the game.

But he and the other players will find out that this isn't all it's cracked up to be, as it is a game to the death...

Follow Devin and his potential new friends as they traverse the quests, defeat Raid Bosses, and try to survive the game to its completion.
