Desolate Daybreak is an average pony. The galaxy is a big place, but Daybreak's world is small. Orphaned at thirteen, with nothing to his name but a pilot's license and a run-down apartment; he wants but one thing: freedom. How far will he go for it? This is the story of how Desolate Daybreak earned his wings.

This story is heavily inspired by The Stars Beyond The Veil by Charlemane. I would very much recommend checking out that story as well.

Note that this is my first story on Fimfiction, and I would love it if you'd take the time to leave a bit of constructive criticism in the comment section below. In addition, I wouldn't hold my breath on regular uploads; I'm a busy guy and I don't have much time to dedicate to writing.
