Octavia was about to say how ridiculous Lyra was being, and there wasn’t a chance in the world she’d have met this pony before, but for some reason the name did seem familiar to her.

Vinyl has red eyes. Octavia has purple eyes. Vinyl wishes she could have Octavia's eyes.

A rather short one-shot of something that has probably been done before. For your reading pleasure, please just forget that Vinyl's eyes aren't red. They are for the sake of the story.

It's been quite a while since Rainbow has left for The Wonderbolts. Since then, she's only been back occasionally for short holidays. Finally, Rainbow has a six month sabbatical. Twilight's not sure this will be enough time with her marefriend.
