Fearing her mother doesn't love her anymore, Dinky runs away. However this is only the beginning of their troubles. When Ditzy and the Mane 6 rescue Dinky from an almost certain death at the paws of one of the dangerous beasts of the Everfree forest, the other ponies in Ponyville decide that Ditzy is not a fit mother and they have Dinky Doo taken away. With the help of Twilight Sparkle, DItzy fights an unfair legal battle as well as her own demons. Even though Ditzy and Dinky face the prospect of never seeing each other again, this story shows just how strong the bond between mother and daughter can be.
