So there's a new canon map of Equestria, and it's not my map. My map has considerably more locations, as you might imagine.

If I did that, though, it'd be even longer before chapter four came out. At least a 2-3 weeks. Oh well, back to writing.

Even when I don't get stuff done like I want, I'll likely keep you guys up to date on what's going on and what I've done. Such is the case this weekend. I didn't get the work done I wanted to, so it'll be a bit for Chapter Three. That's the bad news. Also, here's more bad news. I detected two major areas of weakness in upcoming chapters, one in chapter five and one in chapter seven, but at least I caught them and can work on them before release.

I've submitted the Prologue and Chapter One to the approval queue!

It'll likely still be a bit before it's posted for all to see. It has to get approval fist and then go into the one-story-per-ten-minute post queue.

Also, I'll likely edit the prologue a bit after posting to insert a link to a gDoc author's notes.

I'm working on a major action scene right now, and it's becoming more and more apparent that FimFiction definitely needs an "Action" tag :P

I'm tempted to mark my story with the "Comedy" and "Dark" tags as well as "Adventure", but I think I'll avoid it. I'm not THAT funny (although I'm told the comedy I've written works as it needs to) and I don't want people thinking it's Grimdark, 'cause it's NOT.

But Action/Adventure is definitely a good way to describe it.

Well, crap. My HIDA scan came back so negative I'm not a candidate for surgery. Which means neither I nor my doctors have any clue as to what's wrong with me. Looks like I'll be stuck mostly in my chair/bed for some time because these docs clearly can't figure out what's wrong. I'm going to see if there's any way I can see a gastro doc up at Mayo or something.
