So, bad news. There's no getting around it, I need more time for the next chapter. I just couldn't get much writing done this month because a little bit into it I got incredibly sick and could not speak to write. My voice *still* isn't back to normal yet.

Hopefully I'll be ready after another week or so. I'm very sorry about this, but I'm afraid I just don't have any other option. I'll try to make it up to you all by making July super productive.

Hey guys, got some more bad news. Next chapter will also be delayed a bit. Right now and for the last few days I've been in the states (2000km from home) for my grandmother's funeral. Thus, I need a bit of time.

The good news is I should be home late on the 30th, so I don't need an enormous amount of time, just a couple days. One to recover from the trip, another one or two to finish up the chapter.

Speaking of, I need to ask a small favour. Would it be okay if I delay the next chapter’s release by a few days? I normally wouldn’t ask, but my backlog is getting low and I haven’t been able to do much writing this month.

I just checked my writing history for the month, and I didn't quite write enough to replace what I'm posting today. I need to track that better. But I did get writing done, in particular mostly finishing a very difficult section. Goal for May is 20,000 words, which should rebuild the backlog pretty good, and easily finish off block and mission 8.

Hopefully I can tear myself away from Warframe long enough to pull it off. X)

Mission 9 will be average length, I believe.

1000 words the other day, been lazy since then. I thought I had a doc appointment today, but I do not, which is just as well because I hurt my back again. I think I slept in an odd position or something. Thus, I'll be home most of the day, and have lots of time to work on writing. This coming scene is a super important one I've been thinking on for a long time, so it's going to be like pulling teeth. Wish me luck!
