It's been a year and a half almost since I've gotten sick, and now after many doctors, many, many tests, today I got the call, it's SMA. Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome. I'll be getting surgery to get it cured. I'll be happy, once recovered, to start writing my stories once again, pain free. After more than a year of being pushed from uncaring doctor to uncaring doctor, and ER visit after ER visit, I finally put my foot down and told my primary that I couldn't wait to see a specialist for another month. So, today I managed to see my new gastro and he's very nice, talked through the possibilities with me as well as what tests he would want to do and why, and ordered all the tests to be done within the next 2 weeks. It looks like I might finally make some progress on my diagnosis.

My health has been in serious decline lately and I just had another ER visit just in time for my birthday! I turn 22 tomorrow and I probably wont be able to eat a thing tomorrow. The best news? Well, after waiting 6 months to see a specialist, and then waiting 3 months after having made my first appointment with a new one back in December, I find out that I get to wait anywhere for 1 to 2 months longer till I can actually get in to see anyone!
