My name is Thomas Spangler, though a lot of people know me as Spangle. Actually, I really go by any nickname you can think of that's some variation of my name. Tom, Tommy-boy, Spang, Spangle, Spangy, Spangladesh, Spangle-dangle, Spangdizzle... you get the idea. I was born 1989 and became a Brony in August of 2011. If we're talking about what I do for a living, I'm currently working towards a degree in aerospace engineering and an E-4 in the US Air Force working as a jet engine mechanic. While I may be a tech/engineer guy, I've always had a talent for writing, or so I've been told by my English professors over the years.

I'll be honest, I had never written anything before I became a Brony unless it was for school or work, but this awesome show and community have inspired me to embrace my creative side. I'm loving it so far and I hope I can give you all something decent to read in the process! Sadly, most of my progress is slow going due to the amount of time my career, education, and other hobbies use, so I hope you understand.
