After Fluttershy's first appearance on Shimmercode, her return became a highly anticipated event for the stream's audience. But no one anticipated what would actually happen.

Rated Teen for questionable dialogue in multiple senses and video game footage that might merit a stricter rating from the ESRB. No rating-escalating bodily fluids of any kind are shed by actual EqG characters.

At Bronycon 2019, Quills & Sofas held about half a dozen manual typewriters. Yet again. I wrote still more silly stories on them, some on the subject of typewriters, some based on panels I attended, and some that didn't easily slot into either category. Funnily enough, all the typewriter-based stories belong in other collections, so this features the panel-inspired ones followed by the miscellany.

Rated Teen for discussion of violence and reactions to it in "Full Feather Jacket."

This story is a sequel to Unfriendly Competition

This story also contains references to Fey Breeze and Blue Sunny Days and Pink Lemonade, though reading them isn't strictly necessary.

The first summer vacation after the world changed was eventful for most of the top Shadowbolts. Some came to understand one another. Some got lost outside of reality. Sugarcoat and Moondancer just fumbled their way through a relationship as best they could given their combined social acumen was comparable to a sheet of sandpaper.

The school year has begun, and they're still not entirely sure how to make this whole "them" thing work. At this point, Sugarcoat is getting fed up with the passive approach.

She just never considered that Moondancer might be as well.

Part of the Oversaturated World. Rated Teen for fairly explicit discussion of things that capture teenagers' interest.

This story is a sequel to Sugarless Gumption

Even after the capital-letter-earning fiasco that was the Sugarless Incident, Twilight just can't get the question out of her mind. Given Sunset's magical metabolism, what other culinary conjurations are made possible by harnessing Equestrian magic?

Pinkie's happy to help her find out. Her other friends just wish they knew about it ahead of time.

Note: No characters were fused in the making of this story.

Newspapers across the nation printed the headline: "A Star Has Fallen." Academies everywhere had a day of mourning. The princesses themselves gathered to bid the Bearded One farewell.

And Stygian found himself thinking about something he'd spent more than ten years trying to ignore.

Honorable Mention in the 2019 Everfree Northwest Iron Author competiton. Rated Teen just to be safe; all deaths take place before the start of the story.

Equestria is rather notorious for its historical illiteracy. A thousand years guarantees anypony who wasn't there to witness the event won't remember it. Even the passage of a few generations runs the risk of events falling by the wayside.

But some things ponies remember, even if they don't always retain the reasons why they hold onto those memories. Twilight Sparkle just found one, and now she's going to try to find the reasoning behind it.

It's worse than she could ever imagine. On so many levels, it is so much worse.

Inspired by "Corn & Peg," a Nick Jr. cartoon that G4 very well could have been in a much darker timeline. Set in very early Season 8, during the School of Friendship's construction, and assumes that "Spring Breakdown" took place during that time. Blame/thank Estee for this story's existence. No heretics were BLAMMED in the making of this story.

It all started so simply. An offhoof comment from Strawberry Sunrise, a moment of righteous indignation, an effort to protect her livelihood...

Then Shoeshine ran into an unexpected extra mare in Princess Twilight's castle, and everything went off the rails.

Winner of the Season 9 Bingo Contest.

Cover note: Daring's not tiny; she's just far away.

By their high school days, they live in a glass closet, everyone in school knowing that the "best friends" are much more than that.

But they met much earlier. To tell the full story, one must explore national secrets, million-in-one chances, and the magic of two worlds.

Part of the Oversaturated World, though mostly taking place before the event itself.

In a sense, it was ultimately Night Light's fault. He was the one who wouldn't let Twilight Velvet throw out Shining's old toys, remembering his own lost collection of meticulously sorted baseball cards.

Granted, by that logic, Shining was the one to blame, swearing he'd come get his stuff out of the basement "next weekend" for several hundred weekends until disaster inevitably struck.

Of course, everyone agreed that the real culprit was the wild Equestrian magic that found its way to the basement and struck as said disaster.
