I find myself in something of a quandry. Part 3 of the Magic Inc. story arc has ballooned to 8000 words, and I don't believe I can get it boxed off in less than another 2000. I would normally therefore split the chapter in two, and publish both together to clear the decks for Apollo 13. It's mostly Nixon, even in my head he keeps on asking questions and doing things that add to my word count.

Almost done with the final piece I wanted to do of the next 'newspaper clip' chapter. If anyone has additional news clippings they want to submit, now is the time to do it. PM me with anything you've come up with.

Remember, it doesn't have to be newspapers, it can be exerpts from TV show transcripts, radio interviews, pretty much any sort of media showing reactions on Earth to Luna's latest escapades.

Greetings all,

The last two months have been fraught, to say the least. I have been working on updates to Luna's Return Trajectory and Yellow Apple Blossom of New Texas, but a combination of writing for RPG sessions I'm running, LARP downtimes and electronics for a costume I'm making for a convention have left me with no free time.

I still have a session to write, and further work to do on the costume, but I hope to get some more writing time sometime in May.

If I'd known it was going to stretch to over 70000 words, I might not have started it. But I did it, I finally got one of my stories finished (for a given value of finished). You may have noticed I write very slowly.

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I've finished the latest chapter, the one which was also supposed to be the final chapter. As you can probably deduce, the bad news is that it isn't. I've written the build-up and the first half of the climax, and it's come to over 5000 words. However, I definitely need another chapter at least as long to finish the climax and round things off nicely.

In case you're wondering where the climactic part of A Different Bridal Path is, I was trying to write it over the Christmas break at my mothers house, only to run into my old enemy, writers block. Thankfully, returning to Liverpool seems to have fixed it. No promises as to when it gets done, but at least I'm progressing again.
