Words can be weapons. Meaning if used wrongly in the most non-manageable situations, there can be consequences. You either lose a friend or the friendship ends. But not in Soarin's case. Spitfire and Fleetfoot were his best friends. How could they gossip about him, right in front of the Equestria Daily journalists, during an in-person press conference in Cloudsdale? The Bolts was meant to be a community with integrity, passion, confidence, grit, courage, professionalism and teamwork.

A/N: Someone at my workplace thought it was okay to rant to someone behind my back about my Workmanship. They said to the other person that I wasn't doing my job and that I wasn't helpful at all. I wrote this story, portraying myself as Soarin, to cope with such a hurtful, genuine situation.

Preparations are being made, the catering's already getting done, plans and events are being made. With the Grand Galloping Gala coming up, Canterlot is being the busy city nowadays. It’s suppose to be a sophisticated town, but now business has been booming. The 6 friends were going on and on about the gala, and what they were going to do for a change. Unlike the last gala, they hoped to improve their time there.

During the Main 6 ‘s stay in Canterlot, the wonderbolts are in the derby rehearsing for their grand entrance air performance they planned on doing for this year's gala at Canterlot Castle.

Rehearsal then becomes a bust, all members can't focus on practice. With this years Gala being hosted a few months after Twilight's coronation, the team decides to take a week off before practicing their routine again. One day, they get a letter from Princess Twilight herself. This year, she requested that all mares and stallions attend the gala with dates this year. What a surprise! The Mane 6 and the Wonderbolts are in for a big adventure of love.

**Set after the events of Magical Mystery Cure and around the time within Season 5 or 6.**
There will be a moments in future planned chapters for SoarinDash and FlashLight moments. I can't guarantee which chapters will feature these lovely shippings.

This story is a sequel to Take To The Sky (A SoarinDash One-shot)

Spitfire is sitting in her room bored, she believes she has nothing to do. After deciding to let the team to take time off after practice, the captain can be seen banging her head gently on her desk with the feeling of boredom overwhelming her. After sitting at her desk for several minutes, she decides to write a song for Soarin and Rainbow Dash; the new wonderbolt couple on the team.

To find inspiration, she decides to head down to the pool for a nice swim. She brings along the other members while Soarin and Dash spent some time together.

What did she name the song she wrote? Who will sing the song for her? After all, Spitfire's singing voice isn't at all that good.

Rainbow Dash, now a wonderbolt, is practicing her flying one night. Her close friend/teammate Soarin sees her alone and decides to accompany her. The two pegasi talk about their interests, they both realize that they have a lot in common. They even went through similar situations during their previous lifetimes.

But, something is bothering Soarin. For the longest time, he has a huge crush on Rainbow Dash, ever since she won the Best Young Fliers Competition two years ago. He's afraid to tell the mare how he feels about her. But Soarin tells himself to stallion up and tell her how he feels. Still, he's too nervous. He realized that confessing his feelings to the mare he really liked was going to be hard for him. But, he tries.
Will he finally tell her about his feelings? Will Rainbow return his affections?

Author Note: To make your understanding clear about my writing, I do not always feature romance in the stories I write. Since it's difficult to write about Romance, I'll try my best to make the actions of the characters as sappy as possible (if needed).

Twilight knew she had to do this on her own, helping a friend was important. She just couldn't let her down at all, she reassured her that she will get better. Ways of curing her was going to be a new challenge, a challenge that was going to be a risk worth taking. 'I know I can do this, I know I can. Horn, don't fail me now'. She gives everything she got, no matter what the task is, even no matter how difficult it is. She knew she had to do it, she just had to....or else?
