One day, a glowing dot catches the eye of a curious unicorn.

He’s hurting. He wishes he could do something about it.

Three close friends reside in an underground community where they can live without worrying about being ambushed; not the happiest life, but good enough. Except at the same time it isn't, as there are only a handful of places in Equestria where outcasts can truly live in peace and happiness. The most obvious one is their final destination.

The bad part: they have to get there while being pursued by the government, the Elements of Harmony, and a twisted organization that would gladly see them killed. Luckily they've got razor-sharp wits, deadly weapons, an otherworldly machine that can fell an ill-prepared army almost entirely by itself, and others that support them.

But some can't help but wonder: are the trio really monsters, or are they really once-ordinary ponies that were simply pushed too far past their limits?

Inspired by Warframe: The Planet Equin Incident, The Phantom Pony of Everfree, and Shadow Men: Where Light Can't Touch; I definitely recommend giving any of them a read whenever you have the chance, they're terrific. Also, if anyone can think of a better title, I'd love to hear it.

I was just a guy going through life with some of the necessities: a place to live in on my own, a car, and a job, who just happened to be a brony.

Then, on a walk home, three ponies came into my life, and made it better in ways I'd never imagined. They became my new family. And in the case of one of them, more than just family. I only hope this doesn't end in heartbreak.

[A/N] A spin-off of sorts to my surprisingly popular one-shot romance, Life With A Wonderbolt. The romance tag is there for a reason. Unlike the story that came before this, how and why they ended up on Earth will be explained, and things will happen at a more progressive rate. Spoiler: eventually even more cuteness than LWAW.

Los Pegasus, Coltifornia, part of the United States of Equestria, is a source of legend: here, a mysterious unicorn known only as “Calypso” hosts a yearly contest called Twisted Metal, a fight to the death in cars whose winner is granted one wish of their choosing by Calypso himself. What are the rules on said wish?

There are no rules. No matter how simple or reality-pushing one’s wish is, Calypso will make it happen for the one contestant that triumphs.

This year is the tenth running of the contest, and twelve very different creatures have the chance to fulfill their desires. It all starts with them saying “yes” to one question: WILL YOU DRIVE?
