I did the art + sound, and my bud made the code. I tried to do the woodcut style for the art. It looks a bit different, but people seemed to like it.

Gonna be away for 2 1/2 days or so for a gamejam.

I'll most likely show what I done did over there when I come back! Stay tuned.

Had a really good idea that I'm implementing in Saving Equus, but it means editing some of the earlier chapters!

Oh well.

It should make later parts of the story more engaging.

I do arts stuff more now! Also checking out GameMaker, that's pretty cool.

NOTE: I did publish 2 chapters in quick succession. This probably won't happen much later on. I felt that just having one side in a converging storyline might make it a bit difficult to get the whole message of what the story's like across.

Not going to lie, I've been doing uni stuff. Like, I made a game, and just handed in today. That was pretty cool.

I'll probably do more over the winter holidays. The daily 3-hour commutes just makes it a bit harder to daily post stuff, or daily do stuff.

So, I took the collection of stuff I've made for Saving Equus so far, and made it into a background for my desktop:

A good way to motivate yourself to do something is to throw it at yourself everyday, in my opinion, so I think this'll do the trick. Saving Equus is something I really want to bring out so you guys/gals can read it and tell me what you think.

Was looking around the shameless self promotion threads, and this popped up. I'm usually all for a larger variety of small groups promoting stories, and this seems to be no exception.

Check out The Crimson Library. They've already got about 80 fics on their promoted list in varying genre folders, so if you're interested in the group host's choice of words, might be you'll like it.

The new project I've been hinting at, Saving Equus, is in production. Hooray!

At this point of time, I can tell you it's certainly sci-fi, and either a teen fic with heavy mature themes, or a straight-up mature fic. I don't intend to put any actual sex/gore in it, that's not my thing, but it'll certainly be on the line. I'll have to see what proofreaders think.

I had an endoscopy today, and I also had a long game of strictly linear D&D.

Well, at least the endoscopy had the decency to last 2 mins.

In other news, the thing that was stopping me from doing stuff has been done, so I'll try to be a bit regular in b4 the start of uni.
