I'm a crazy author-- but then again, what author isn't? I am into all things fandom, especially pony. I also love history, which is why I'm writing this crazy Apollo 11 thing.

Rosetta Stone's long-awaited Crystal Frontier linguistic survey has already been thrown off by a bout with disease, and to make it worse on their arrival to the first town on the list, rumors from the south of a coup and a brewing conflict over the throne have set the frontier on edge. And to add insult to injury, a meteor goes right over town and smashes it flat, and who's just arrived in town not hours before, a prime suspect and a unicorn to boot?

Out of money, and run out of town, Rosetta's only option is to partner with a mountain mare to scavenge the meteor for its rare materials and hopefully pay off their debts. Rather than sky steel, however, what they find will leave them in the history books forever.

If the brutal wilderness of the frontier, the xenophobic Duke of Snowybury's militia, or Sombra's usurping troops don't kill them first.

Things have been shaken up by Luna's surprise appearance and subsequent journey to Earth. As the world tries to find its footing in a universe much different then they expected, and as the strange phenomenon of "magic" begins to spread, everyone's having to make some accommodations-- Luna not least, with the Nightmare now an equal holder of her own body; not a great arrangement. But among all this, the attack onboard Hornet lurks, begging the question: Who was behind it? What do they want? And is it already too late to stop it?

It was a very rainy and dark night when Flim Flim Flam had to drive all day and all night without a break. His brother was sick, and so he’d been holding the wheel for a dozen hours.
He was ever so tired. So tired that he kept drifting in and out of darkness, as he went down the lonely lanes and through the tired little hamlets. He kept drifting in and out of sleep while trying to keep his hooves on the wheel.
He never saw the corner, in the driving rain.
He never saw her step into the street.

It’s been a month since Vinyl Scratch proposed to Octavia, and things have gone well. Even meeting the parents, a few days back, didn’t explode in their faces, so things are looking great.
Of course, this is when everything goes terribly wrong one night at dinner with Tavi’s parents.
Perhaps wrong isn’t the most fitting word. Awkward would probably fit better.

Trixie’s hit rock bottom. Though she was “forgiven” after the Alicorn Amulet incident, it doesn’t change the fact that she’s a criminal in all but legality. For months, she’s been begging for food and scrounging what she can. Penniless and wagonless, when an advertisement for Harmonics, Inc., popped up, she immediately volunteered. After all, it came with the possibility of fame and fortune. More importantly, however, was the opening statement: “No Volunteers Rejected.”
Prince Blueblood’s in trouble. It’s taken years, but finally, he’s blundered, insulted, and failed every single job in Canterlot worthy of his noble heritage. There’s only one option left to him after his disastrous stint at the Research and Development Department. Celestia has “requested” that he take on the position of the highest-ranking member of Equestria’s end of Project Harmonics. Everypony—even Blueblood, for once— knows that it’s simply a way to simultaneously give him a job worthy of his title, and to get him out of sight and out of mind where he can’t hurt anyone as a figurehead. In fact, it might even help—it promises fame and fortune, and more importantly, “No Volunteeers Rejected.”
Of course, it only makes sense that these two misfits are instantly paired and sent off on an exploration mission.
The only thing the advertisement forgot? The quite significant possibility of death.

After the events of "A Canterlot Wedding," Queen Chrysalis is about to die, after having been flung hundreds of miles away and through an apartment roof.
Bold Words is the owner of said apartment, a struggling author who always wanted an epic adventure of his own. When Public Enemy Number One comes falling (literally) into his life, near-dead, helpless, and in dire need of assistance, will he be able to resist his adventurelust and do what any good citizen should do?
Or is he going to do something ill-advised, incredibly stupid, very dangerous, and ADVENTUROUS?
Most ponies that know him would take heavy bets on the latter. Too bad for the changeling queen.

When President Nixon orders, you obey. And now that he wants Luna on the LM and heading home, how is Neil ever going to convince her to follow?
But it doesn't even get that far, as an innocent mistake endangers the mission.
And even as the mission is endangered, tensions are rising back on Earth. While the drama plays out in Mission Control, just what is going on behind the Iron Curtain?
No one knows, but it's certainly not conducive to Apollo 11's welfare.

When Naponeon invades without warning, and Canterlot's walls crumbling, the Princesses of Day and Night have no choice but to stop one evil with a slightly lesser evil.

Here's an interesting fact: Discord is the Equestrian Spirit of Chaos. He doesn't much take a fancy to foreigners. Especially not those trying to invade.
And Discord really doesn't like the smell of Epoisses au Marc-- Which just happens to be Naponeon's favorite cheese.
